Technical difficulties.....

Having trouble downloading photos and so I have not been blogging.

I have had a glass of wine though and so I thought I would"just write."

I love.....

1. That Alexandra LOVES her bedroom and no longer wants to sleep on an air mattress in our room.
2. We eat dinner at a table. (woohoo)
3. We have a backyard.
4. It is only 1 mile to Trader Joe's.
5. I have mountains I can climb.
6. We live in a very comfy cozy neighborhood.
7. My mailman delivers my mail to my door.
8. We can walk to a great playground and Elementary school.
9. We are only 30 minutes from family.
10. We have friends that we miss...but good friends are worth missing.

Hope that makes sense....if not....blame it on the wine.

Good friends are rare treasures and we are so blessed!

Thank you friends...

I want to thank all of the wonderful SD friends my family has met in the last 4 years. San Diego is an amazing place to live...but the most amazing part is the friendships we have made. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be here for all most all of Alexandra's life. It "hit" me today that we are really moving. I am excited and scared. Excited for life's new adventure and scared to once again move to a place where I know no-one and have to take the leap to start over. I am so thankful to have all of the photos to look back on to remember how truly blissful this time was. I love you mama's! These photos say it all.

"Stacia and Allie playdate number 1" that is what the playdate was posted as on my moms group site. This means that there is a countdown on how many more play dates I can attend. Very sad indeed. There is nothing better than going to the park and plopping down on the grass with a group of people that you have known for years. The kids run off and play together and we moms chat about anything. The comfort level is what I will miss the most. The "stages" of finding new friends is not a fun one, but I will press on. Alexandra knows we are moving and we randomly go to strange parks where we don't know a soul so we can practice our friend making skills. We still have the skills and so we should be ok.

Birthday fun.....

Mr. G made my birthday special once again. We spent the night at La Costa resort and spa and it was lovely. We ate each meal overlooking the beautiful golf course.
I was able to spend a few hours alone in the spa and it was spectacular! I feel rejuvenated.

Miss Alliegator was able to swim and play in the pools and slides. They also had an air hockey table for her to enjoy. I think 39 is gonna be good!

Happy New Year

Today I explained to Allie how one year was ending and a new was beginning. I asked her what she wanted to accomplish in 2009. She wanted to jump in a puddle.
Tame "Spike" the dinosaur.

And eat a blueberry muffin while riding her bike.
