Happy Early Thanksgiving...

This weekend we traveled to Ojai to spend an early Thanksgiving with family. Alexandra was completely happy to be doted on by her cousins. I feel like I should send them a check for babysitting. They took over as soon as we walked in the door.
Alexandra adores them.
We had a wonderful day which consisted of hiking, football, fabulous food and we have a tradition of ending the day with watching "The Family Stone."

On Sunday we decided to take a drive through Malibu and somehow ended up on Balboa Island. It was the perfect ending to a perfect weekend!

To the Big Guy in the Red Suit...

We are a bit early this year, but Alexandra wanted to make sure she got her list in on time. After looking through many toy magazines....these are the top 5. Please note that the cat does not mean a real cat....but a stuffed one. Also, dinosour=dinosaur, and again, not a real one.
Tell Rudolph we say hello!

It is that crazy time of year....again!

This is the time of the year I win "mother of the year award."
Christmas card photos usually get the best of me. I normally start out saying things like..."if you smile and look at the camera I will give you juice and candy when we get home." I typically end the photo shoot with sentences such as..."if you don't smile and look at the camera RIGHT NOW MISSY you can never play with your toys or see any of your friends again."
This smile was for all of Allie's friends out there...she can't wait to play!

Happy Halloween.....

Bring on Thanksgiving!

Once upon a time...

some of the moms in San Diego got together for a bum spanking, worm eating Halloween party.
The Cinderella's chanted for candy...candy...candy...

and then they all got together for what may be the next new Disney poster.

Cupcakes were gobbled and the sugar runith over.

Until it was time to grab a cowgirl, head home and prepare for Trick or Treat.
May Halloween never end...
Happy Halloween!

Lets ride...

this is our new nightly activity. Alexandra loves her new bike, It plays fairy music, has a bell and the helmet twinkles. What more could a girl ask for?
My cautious child has already fallen twice(yes...even with training wheels) and so we typically ride at a turtle's pace. I guess by riding slower we are just taking in more of the lovely scenery!
